The 2019 awards run has been very favourable for Klein Roosboom having won a total of 17 awards including Top Ten Producer at the Vitis Vinifera Awards.

With the drought still affecting quantity, the total South African production is down to the smallest in 14 years. The quality of our 2019 vintage, however, did not disappoint.

The cooler conditions in December and January meant that our earlier varieties, like our Chardonnay, ripened with lovely acidity and great freshness. Grapes also ripened evenly and slowly. The smaller bunches and grapes gave us lots of concentration full of flavor.
